During the Corona Virus emergency measures we are using this page to post ideas, links and videos to help you and your family at home.
Click on the pictures to read documents.
We have created a pod with easypeasy to help you with ideas to do at home. Easypeasy is a new app designed to provide playful activities which will help your child develop skills for school and life. These ideas will be sent out weekly direct to your mobile phone. The games are easy to play, fun, timely and educational. This opportunity is only available until 31st May. If you would like to sign up for this please email us with your name and phone number and we will add you to our pod (email@example.com) We look forward to sharing more activities with you.
You can still weigh your baby at Red Kite adhering to social distancing. Please call 01844 261163 to make an appointment.

We welcome anyone in Oxfordshire who is pregnant, and their partner/supporter.
The session is led by members of our specialist facilitator team and is based on a slide presentation, including video of babies feeding.
* how to get breastfeeding off to a great start
* what to expect in the early weeks with a new baby
* how to keep feeding on track if difficulties occur
* how to find help and support.
Registration for the session is online here. The Zoom link is emailed to those who are booked in, shortly before their chosen session time.
Finally, just a quick reminder that if families need 1:1 breastfeeding support via phone or video, they can submit a Help Request here. You are welcome to make a referral on behalf of a family - please make this clear in the long text box.
See www.oxbreastfeedingsupport.org/index.php/coronavirus for many other ways to get feeding support during social isolation.
We may not be able to be at the centre but we can still enjoy our messy play! You are never too old for ooblek (cornflour mixed with water), or for something a little less messy, mark making in cous cous on a baking tray.
If you are on Facebook you can request via the Red Kite Family Centre page to join two of our virtual groups - Baby bar, for pregnant mums and new parents with young babies and Sensory Explorers - a group for families with young children with additional needs. Just click on the Facebook icon.
